Day 6:
Why do they have their resources? How long have they had them, and how have they served the character over time?

Their parents are the reason why they have influence in Manhattan, but both Sarai and Elisha earned their money and reputation as the sisters to not be messed with. They've been making contacts for about three years and their magical power had beren building since puberty.

Their magical power had exposed them to the magical side of New York and etched out a reputation for them as being stronger than the normal witch.  Money and reputation gave them power over people who heard their name ansld know of them and their contacts give them a safety net just in case things go wrong.
